HeadPlay HD goggles do not have a built-in battery alarm. But that shortcoming is easy to solve with this FPV accessory. Its low voltage alarm alert is extra loud to make sure you get the message that it's time to land before the goggle image shuts off. The alarm connects to your battery's balance port connector. Both 2S (7.4V) and 3S (11.1) LiPO batteries are supported.
The alarm is on a plastic bracket that attaches to the back of the HeadPlay HD Goggles' head strap. The bracket easily installs on the
goggles' rear head strap using the Headplay's big knurled screw. It can be installed or removed in seconds.
The bracket also has an area to hold the 2S battery originally supplied with the goggles. But it also accepts a higher capacity 2S/3S pack for longer goggle operating times. Both Velcro and zip ties are included to hold your battery pack (not included) to the bracket.
The bracket is 3D printed in black ABS plastic. Please note that 3D printed parts will have cosmetic irregularities but this does not affect the mechanical performance.
Note: Please review the photos in the Detailed images section for plug orientation when attaching the battery to the Low Voltage Alarm module. ALWAYS disconnect the alarm module from the battery when not in use.
LED Status Lights: Green = Good voltage (no alarm alert), Red = Low voltage, 3.5V/cell or less (approx).
Buzzer Alarm = Voltage extremely low, 3.2V/cell or less (approx).
