Hyperion Atlas Digital Micro Servo, HP-DS12-HCP

HP-DS12-HCP Hyperion Atlas digital micro servo. Perfect for compact pan and tilt projects, robotics, and R/C hobby applications.

Out of the box this servo is a very good performer. However, it really shines when you use the optional USB Programmer (available at additional cost) to customize its features. It's a breeze to change the maximum servo throw, speed, centering, and more.

For example, using the optional programmer you can set the servo to provide nearly 180 degrees of travel, something that you can't do on standard servos. As you can imagine, wide travel is perfect for camera panning applications. You can also slow down the servo speed for gentle camera movement.

Because of its programmable performance, we highly recommend this servo as a upgrade to the Hitec HS-81 servo that is normally used in the Pandora Pan and Tilt kit. Frankly, Atlas servos are amazing.
