5VDC/6VDC Voltage Regulator (BEC), Switch-Mode Type

This Voltage Regulator accepts 6-26 VDC on its input and outputs 5VDC or 6VDC (jumper selectable). DC-DC switching technology helps it run cooler than traditional linear regulator designs.

It can be used as a radio control system BEC (battery eliminator circuit) or for other applications that need 5-6 VDC. For example, it can be used to power a 5V CCD video camera from a 2S to 6S (2-6 cell) LiPO battery pack.

The DC input has 3-inch leads (Red wire = BAT+). The 6-inch long output cable has a 2-wire (3-pin) servo style connector, wired as follows:

Red: +5VDC
Black: Ground

When used as a R/C receiver BEC, the 3-pin cable is plugged directly into the receiver's battery port.
